Can you believe it's JANUARY of a new year?  I certainly can't but I'm B-A-C-K!   Every year we work like beavers to get through the futurities then (for us) the horse continuum basically stops ­ and my focus goes to the holidays.  I spend the majority of the time between Thanksgiving and Christmas getting ready for Christmas, or at least involved in activities working up to it.   Shopping, decorating, shopping, cleaning, shopping, wrapping, shopping, etc.  You get the picture.  Of course there's a lot of fun intermingled along with good times with friends so in the end, it's all good.   Horse and personally, the last several months have been extremely busy.  There have been some good timesand very intense ones.   I'll elaborate on the News page.  Also, I've updated the "Stars" page (it's about time!) with details and new pictures!   You'll also notice I've FINALLY gotten a picture of our stud, Wildfire Candy up.  Happy New Year everyone!   Brian and Diane Alves Paint Horses, located in the heart of the Central Valley, have been raising and breeding quality Paints for over 18 years.   They have produced standout Futurity, World and State Champions such as Black N White Page, Button Me and Page Me at the Bar and continue to excel in quality halter and lungeline horses and performance prospects.
