**IMPORTANT CCC NEWS FOR 2008**
CCC is actively seeking sponsors, private or corporate, to allow
us to continue to give saddles, portraits, buckles, etc as part
of our year end awards. If you or anyone you do business with
are interested please contact the CCC chairman or your CCC representative.
The decision as to what high points will be awarded is decided
by the committee each year based on financial status.
CCC passed a motion that any class which did not have at least
3 qualifiers in 2007 would not be sponsored for 2008. Based on
this criteria the following classes will not be sponsored for
2008 unless we receive notification by February 25, 2008 that
you would like to sponsor one of them. The final sponsored list
will be posted on the CCC website at www.californiastatepainthorse.com
We are also trying to collect sponsorships so we can give
our Novice Youth some High Point Awards for this year.
In 2008 the only walk/trot classes to be offered will be the
same as APHA
5-9. This age group will receive the same high points as our
other categories. CCC also passed a motion requiring the walk/trot
5-9 exhibitors to wear helmets.
