Sandee Proctor Stables was established in
1963 in Sacramento, California. In 1989 the business moved to
its current location in the nearby community of Pleasant Grove
in Placer County. Pleasant Grove is predominately farm and ranch
land, and many champion show horses have been bred, raised, and
trained in the area. The present facility includes 30 box stalls,
mare motel, indoor arena, outdoor arena, round pen, hot walker,
indoor hot water wash rack, and trailer parking. Farrier, Richard
Franklin, is scheduled weekly and veterinary care is provided
by Loomis Basin Equine Medical Center. The horses are fed quality
alfalfa cubes and oats twice daily, Show Shape (a product of
Marybelle Farms Inc.) and
vitamin supplements are added as needed. We offer full care boarding,
with all cleaning, maintenance and feeding services provided
by the management.
Electro-Acuscope
Therapy is offered to horses recovering from athletic
or accident injuries. Read more about this amazingly successful
program elsewhere on this site. Ask about our Equine Neck Sculpturing
service that will define and tighten the neck on your halter
or performance horse.
